Hail Sauron
The armies of Isengard march towards Gondor over the White Mountains, through the pass towards Blackroot Vale. The last forces of Rohan seek to aid Gondor's defense at Erech. Is there still hope, or will the shadow of darkness descend over Gondor, as it has already done over Rohan?
Welcome to play a massive Lord of the Rings battle with the Hail Caesar rule system.
No prior knowledge or figures are needed.
Drop-in and drop-out throughout the event.
The number of players depends on how many armies you can play. Usually 8 players at the same time, but it can vary during the event.
After all commanders have given their orders, we take a short break. Those who want to continue playing are welcome to play another round or more. But also leave and come back later.
The game goes like this: You choose a side and a commander, verbally you tell your soldiers what to do. A roll of the dice to see how well (or poorly) the order went to move the units.
After that it's shooting for those who can and finally melee for those who are in contact with the enemy.
Then the round passes to the opponent and they choose a commander. Back and forth until all commanders have ordered their forces.
