Do you like the Japanese Boardgame Room – the place where you can try out funny and weird Japanese indie board games? Fun, right?

THERE IS A DARK SIDE TO ID…

As great societies can be built on mountains of bodies, is the Japanese Boardgame Room built on piles of unknown, untested and certainly not quality controlled… THINGS that we hope are games (who knows?). Sacks of more or less enthusiastic weirdness whose rules have never been read, and whose components have never been touched.

This mountain of unknosn material has by slackness been allowed to grow, and it now fills several large boxes. The chaos threatens to engulf us all.

SOMETHING MUST BE DONE.

Aside the regular, sensible and orderly boardgame bar, we therefore welcome you, brave explorer, to arm yourself with a flashlight (smartphone with translation app) and dive down into these dark caves, shed some light over the shadows, and answer the elusive riddles.

Do not despair, for the enemy can be defeated with knowledhe! Band together and steel thyself! Dive down into unknown boxes! Open the unopened manuals! Accept the challenges therein, and share thy findings! Is what you have dug up a glittering diamond or just regular batshit? That will be up to you and your team of explorers to report!

Prizes will be deliverd to the most brave and diligent!

(Meaning: We will bring boxes of untested japanese indie games. Nothing in them is translated, but with a translator app, we believe it's possible to make some sense out of them. We will bring a list with the titles of all these games, and will shape a system where those who test games and write down the result (a short description and maybe a grade) will get "points" (in some way). At the end of the convension, we will give prizes to everyone who has participated, and the team who has tested most will get a nicer prize. Whatever that will be.)
